Jason Wu – nothing like it!
Jason Wu is a young, talented super star of fashion. He designs for Michele Obama and celebs galore and had many A-listers in his front row! When we met with him to determine the look this season, he had a clear vision and it had to do with [insert drum roll here]….his sofa!I’m not kidding – he has a lovely pale taupey-gray sofa in his studio that is his ’signature’ color! This shade was precisely what he wants for nails…so the super-sleuths of CND went to work to find the perfect tone and texture. The end result was one coat of masculine Silver Chrome, 2 coats of ultra femme, warm semi-sheer pink Putty finished with Super Matte to create a look so cool and modern: an industrial warm-taupe limestone. This combined with a bold tailored shape was the finishing touch for the Irving Penn menswear-inspired collection for day but looked just as beautiful when paired with the dramatic evening looks…especially the finale gown, which was simply breathtaking!
