Day 2 begins with glorious sunny skies and a light NY breeze…
perfect for walking the city from show to show! As I review my list for the day, I realize that traveling 15 years in the fashion business has allowed me to know industry greats like Nicole Miller as well as up and coming young stars like Joy Cioci. Lucky for me I get to see both in one day!!!

The designers: Super excited to see this show. Both designers are TV celebs…the male half, Nary Manivong, was the star of “Dressed’ and his female counterpart, Ally Hilfiger is daughter of famous designer Tommy Hilfiger and star of ‘Rich Girls.’

The designer: Fashion-famous since the 80’s, Nicole Miller popularized colorful prints and batwing sleeves. She’s been a commercial success for years and drew a hip, downtown crowd…as well the Vogue team in the front row!
The collection: Geometrics, stripes, checks and patchwork prints in bold shades of pink, lime and royal blue complemented 80’s silhouettes in jumpsuits with skinny racer back T’s, zippered parachute pants with menswear batwing shirts and skinny leggings paired with oversized denim jackets…all with chunky multi-toned snakeskin platforms.

The designer: Young, meticulous and visionary. Her sense of design and style is fresh and already a Hollywood favorite!
The collection: A delicious palette of color in shades of lilac, apricot, pomegranate, cranberry and persimmon, spiked with glam rock bolts of chartreuse and citron. Silhouettes were sleek, flirty and modern.
