The designer: Monique Lhuillier is famous for her bridal and evening-wear collections crafted of imported fabrics, hand-beaded laces and exquisite embroideries. The gowns are always feminine, timeless and breathtaking.
The designer: Joseph Altuzarra worked under the best designers in fashion (Marc Jacobs, Givenchy and Proenza Schouler) and now has his own successful line for women who love the energy of a city and the craftsmanship of an artist.
The collection: ‘New Rock N’ Roll’. The collection was true to the ‘Altuzarra’ aesthetic with sharply architectural lines with a sci-fi edge. The dominantly white suits and dresses served as the right backdrop for the electrified tropical prints in bright lime, yellow, blue and orange. All cinched and accented with black leather gun belts and holsters and skinny, sleek heels.
